The main purposes are as follows: 1. To understand after Grade 1-9 Curriculum execution, how the primary school teachers with administrative duties feel about their work pressure. 2. To analyze after Grade 1-9 Curriculum execution, the differences of work pressure of primary school teachers with administrative duties on background variables. 3. To understand after Grade 1-9 Curriculum execution, the responding strategies taken of the primary school teachers with administrative duties when facing the work pressure. 4. To analyze after Grade 1-9 Curriculum execution, the differences of pressure responding strategies of primary school teachers with administrative duties on background variables. 5. To understand after Grade 1-9 Curriculum execution, the relationship between the work pressure of primary school teachers with administrative duties, and their responding strategies. 6. According to the result of the study, concrete suggestions are proposed for schools, teacher cultivation authorities, and education executive authorities’ reference. This study was based on the primary school teachers with administrative duties in Tainan City and Tainan County, and the methods of bibliography analysis and questionnaire were used. Effective questionnaires were 480 . The tool of this study is the questionnaire “The relationship between the work pressure of primary school teachers with extra executive duties, and their responding strategies.” The data gathered was conducted by statistics methods, Arithmetic mean,SD, t test, oneway ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), and Pearson cross-product correlation. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. The overall feeling about the work pressure of primary school teachers with administrative duties is average. 2. In 5 respects of the work pressure of primary school teachers with administrative duties, “work load” gives the most pressure, followed by “external environment”, “social relationship factors”, “role pressure” and then “organization factors”. 3. The overall responding strategy of primary school teachers with administrative duties is above the average. 4. In 3 respects of work pressure responding strategies of primary school teachers with administrative duties, the mostly used is “facing the problem”, followed by “seeking support” then “emotion adjustment”. 5. After Grade 1-9 Curriculum execution, there are obvious differences in overall respect and in each single respect of the work pressure and of the responding strategies of primary school teachers with administrative duties. According to the study conclusions, the suggestions below are proposed. 1. The suggestions to education executive authorities 1.) Re-build the organization and plan human resources to reduce work load. 2.) Strengthen the system of professional advanced-study on the job to improve the professional knowledge effectively. 3.) Integrate and reduce all sorts of competition, meetings, and evaluation work. 4.) Provide schools with sufficient resources to improve the ability of responding strategy so as to reduce work pressure. 2. The suggestions to school supervisors 1.) Build the transfer system of division teachers with administrative duties to release work pressure. 2.) The school principles should focus on the improvement of school organization atmosphere and the transfer of executive experience so that work pressure can be reduced and effects of responding strategies can be improved. 3. The suggestions to teachers with administrative duties 1.) Use the responding strategies well and adjust personal emotions to reduce work pressure. 2.) Be active in having advanced study and enrich professional knowledge to respond to the promotion of Grade 1-9 Curriculum. 3.) Build up social relationship and seek supporting network to improve responding resources.
