Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 應用數學研究所碩士班 === 93 === This study is to convert grades into five ranks by using the fuzzy theory, and make it the most reasonable assessment. Also, this study provides suggestions for teachers while assessing students’ grades.
As above, the main purposes of this study are (1) to convert quantitative grades of 1-9th grade students into five ranks through the fuzzy theory, (2) to compare the proposal method with usual.
Two parts are divided to explain the application of the study (1) whether there are differences between score deviations and score centralizations? (2) whether there are differences or restrictions when average scores are at margin or at median of each rank ?
The results of the study reveal that (1) it is more flexible to convert grades by the proposal method. Besides, when the degrees of the results are the same, choosing the best rank corresponds to what teachers always do and what sociological methods decide. (2) it is quite stable in crisp interval. This reveals that the proposal method does not conflict with ordinary quantitative grades or judging standards.
Above two reasons assure that the proposal method is reasonable and applicable.
