Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 資訊教育研究所 === 93 === The purpose of the research is to analyze the different of the communication content and communication network occurring among elementary school students during their mobile project-based learning activities and net project-based learning activities. Sixty fifth-grade students from two classes are chosen and divided into two groups: experiment group and control group. The experiment group conducts its learning activities and discussions outdoors using PDA, whereas the control group is using pen and paper. During the activities, the communication records among students are collected using a database. The records collected are analyzed with content analysis. The results are listed as follows: first, the experiment group, outdoor synchronous communication content of is found mostly task-oriented and indoor synchronous communication content is found mostly task-interfered. For the control group, it was found mostly task-interfered. Second, for both experiment group and control group, the communication content of asynchronous inner-group discussion forum is observed to be task-oriented. For both group, the communication content of common discussion forum is found mostly task-interfered. Third, for the experiment group, the synchronous communication network is mainly fragmented. For the control group, the synchronous communication network is approximately ideal. Forth, for the experiment group, the communication network of synchronous inner-group discussion forum is observed to be mostly consecutive. For the control group, it is mainly consecutive and self-centered. Fifth, for the experiment group, the communication network of asynchronous common discussion forum is mostly self-centered. For the control group, it is found mainly aggregated and consecutive.
