碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系輔導教學碩士班 === 93 === The study was intended to explore the effect of overweight pupils’ weight reduction and the self-efficacy in the regulation of diet and exercise habit; and to offer concrete suggestions for reference of school counseling in accordance with the result of study.
The experiments objects are 44 overweight pupils from Tainan Municipal Rihsin Elementary School, random distributed into four teams per 11 persons. The Experiment Team A is for bibliotherapy group counseling scheme; Experiment Team B is for physical exercise scheme; Experiment Team C is for the scheme of bibliotherapy group counseling and physical exercise; and The Control Team is without taking any training or experiment.
According to the statistics and scores of Weights, BMI (Body Mass Index), Body Fat and Diet Control& Physical Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale to evaluate the One-way ANCOVA ,and then obtained the immediate and follow-up effects after experiments.
The results are as follows:
1.Immediate Effect:
(1)The Immediate Effect of Weight Reduction:
(a)The Immediate Weight Control Effect:
(i)The Weight reduction of three Experiment Teams are more apparent reduction than Control Team.
(ii) The Weight reduction of Experiment Team C are more apparent reduction than Experiment Team B.
(b) The Immediate Effect of BMI:
(i)The BMI of three Experiment Teams are more apparent reduction than Control Team.
(ii)There is no apparent BMI reduction difference among three Experiment Teams.
(c) The Immediate Effect of Body Fat:
(i)There is no Body Fat reduction difference between Experiment Team A. and Control Team.
(ii)Obviously Experiment Team B and C’s Body Fat reductions are better than Control Team.
(iii)There is no apparent Body Fat reductions difference among three Experiment Teams.
(2)The Immediate Effects of Diet Control and Physical Exercise Self-Efficacy:
(a)The Immediate Effects of Diet Control and Physical Exercise Self-Efficacy on Classification Scale I.(Diet Control and Physical Exercise Habits):
The result is not up to standard.
(b)The Immediate Effects of Diet Control and Physical Exercise Self-Efficacy on Classification Scale II.(Diet Control and Physical Exercise Behavior Modification): The result is not up to standard.
(c)The Immediate Effects of Diet Control and Physical Exercise Self-Efficacy on Classification List III.(Diet Control and Physical Exercise Knowledge):
(i)The scores on Classification Scale III. of Experiment Team A and C are obviously better than Control Team.
(ii)The scores of Experiment Team B. on Classification Scale III. are no difference than Control Team.
(iii)The scores of three Experiment Teams on Classification Scale III .have no significant difference.
(d)The Immediate Effect of Total Scale:
(i)The scores of Experiment Team A. and C on Total List are significant better than Control Team.
(ii)There is no scores difference on Total Scale between Experiment Team B and Control Team.
(iii)There is no significant scores difference on Classification Total Scale among three Experiment Teams.
2. Follow-up Effect:
(1)The Follow-up Effect of Weight Reduction:
(a)The Follow-up Effect of Weight Control:
(i)The Weight reductions of three Experiment Teams are obviously better than Control Team.
(ii)There is no significant Weight reduction difference among three Experiment Teams.
(b)The Follow-up Effect of BMI
(i)The BMI reductions of three Experiment Teams are obviously better than Control Team.
(ii)There is no significant BMI reduction difference among three Experiment Teams.
(c) The Follow-up Effect of Body Fat
(i) The Body Fat reductions of three Experiment Teams are obviously better than Control Team.
(ii) There is no significant Body Fat reduction difference among three Experiment Teams.
(2)The Follow-up Effects of Diet Control and Physical Exercise Self-efficacy:
(a) The Follow-up Effects of Diet Control and Physical Exercise Self-Efficacy on Classification Scale I.(Diet Control and Physical Exercise Habits):
(i) There is no significant scores difference on Classification Scale I. among three Experiment Teams and Control Team.

(i)There is no significant scores differences on Classification Scale III. among three Experiment Teams and Control Team.
(ii) There is no significant scores differences on Classification Scale III. among three Experiment Teams.
(d) The Follow-up Effect of the Total List:
(i)The scores of Experiment Team C on Total Scale are obviously better than Control Team.
(ii) The scores of Experiment Team A & B and Control Team on Total List have no difference.
(iii) The scores of Experiment Team C on Total Scale are obviously better than Experiment Team B.
Finally, we are going to submit proposals as the result of experiment for further research and school counseling in future.
