Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系輔導教學碩士班(到96學年度上止) === 93 === The study is to discuss and assess the effectiveness on the grogram of practical remedy by group guidance and assistance for the elementary school children who have aggressive tendencies. In addition to evaluate the results of student counseling in immediate and delay natures to those children, and propose the concrete suggestions for the teachers of elementary schools referring to educate and guide those children. The study targets sixteen children who have aggressive tendencies are studying in sixth grade of municipal Shang-jin elementary school, Tainan city. Each eight members of these students are randomly and equally assigned to experiment and control groups, respectively, and joined two model members in each groups. Instruments used in this study are “Life Experience Assessment Chart”, “Student Behavior Assessment Chart”, and “Life Attitude Inventory for Elementary School Students”. The obtained Data is proved in statistic by using analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), and collected the response information of members, process record of groups, individual interviews, and interviewing to the teachers who are in charge of a grade as the proof and assistance of study results. The main study results are as follows: 1. In the area of immediate nature (1) The effectiveness of applying the practice remedy program by group counseling towards “destroying goods” to aggressive children in elementary schools is noticeable, but not noticeable to apply in “aggressive behavior”, “physical attack”, “verbal attack”, “agitation & irritation”, ”suspicion & resentment”. (2) The practice remedy program by group counseling to aggressive children in elementary schools is noticeable in immediate nature to “Student Behavior Assessment Chart”, as well as to the assessing of aggressive behaviors from the teachers who are in charge of a grade. (3) The practice remedy program by group counseling to aggressive children in elementary schools is not noticeable to “Life Attitude” (responsible behaviors, correct behaviors, and corresponded reality behaviors). 2. In the area of delay nature (1) The effectiveness of applying the practice remedy program by group counseling to aggressive children in elementary schools towards “aggressive behavior”, “physical attack”, “agitation & irritation”, ”suspicion & resentment “, and “destroying goods” is noticeable, but not noticeable to apply in “verbal attack”. (2) The practice remedy program by group counseling to aggressive children in elementary schools is noticeable in delay nature to “Student Behavior Assessment Chart”, as well as to the assessing of aggressive behaviors from the teachers who are in charge of a grade. (3) The practice remedy program by group counseling to aggressive children in elementary schools is noticeable in delay nature to “Life Attitude”. 3. Analysis of member responses and interviews (1) Members consider that the practice remedy program by group counseling is much helpful to their learning in life, interaction of human being, satisfaction of mental requirements, and selecting effective behavior to decrease aggressive behavior. (2) The teachers who are in charge of the experiment group consider that the group counseling is not only helpful to decrease aggressive behaviors, but also improve the interaction of human being. Finally, this study results of several suggestions which will be provided for school guidance and further research.
