In this thesis, we create fluorescent spots with biomaterial fabricates platform on wafer. We adopt the biomaterial (SOM) produced from bacterial, which including S-layer protein and its composition is correlation with bacterial membrane.
To avoid additional fluorescent dye produced background on wafer, the biomaterial mixed with fluorescent silver particle. We use confocol microscope to observe the micro-sized fluorescent complex (complex SOM) composed of SOM and silver particle adhere on the wafer surface. For studying on fluorescent light with complex SOM , SOM couldn’t affect on efficiency and photobleaching . when its spot size is 2μm, there are more than 2.75x105 micro-sized spot individually on the 0.7x 0.7 cm2 wafer. In conclusion, this approach can be self-assemble, disperse the functional SOM, set itself independently like array and form 2μm size on the wafer .
