In addition, we will discuss the connection between the students’ knowledge and attitude about AIDS and the seven variables, which are gender, grades, social economic status of the students’ families, the location of schools, the related information supported by schools, and the frequency that the students talk to others about AIDS and the knowledge of how dangerous AIDS really are. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, test of independence, one-way analysis of variance, two-way analysis of variance, Pearson product-moment correlation, simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The main conclusions are as follows: 1. The proportion of the senior high school students in central Taiwan answered the AIDS knowledge correctly was 73.63%, and the proportion of the junior high school students in central Taiwan answered the AIDS knowledge correctly was 53.2%. The senior high school students did well about AIDS knowledge, and the junior high school students need more improvement. 2. The average score of the senior high school students’ self-attitude about AIDS in each question was 3.94 points and others-attitude toward AIDS was 3.62 points. The average score of the junior high school students’ self-attitude toward AIDS in each question was 3.75 points and others-attitude toward AIDS was 3.46 points. (The full score is 5) 3. The grades, social and economic status of the students’ families, location of the schools, frequency that the students talk to others about AIDS, junior high schools support the AIDS-related information or not and the students’ self-knowing toward the damage of AIDS of the varies had significant differences about AIDS knowledge. 4. The genders, grades, knowing the damage of AIDS, location of the schools, junior high schools support the AIDS-related information or not and frequency that the students talk to others about AIDS of the varies had significant differences about their self-attitude toward AIDS. 5. The grades and location of schools of the varies have significant difference about their others-attitude toward AIDS. The junior high school students’ genders, social and economic status of their families, schools support the AIDS-related information, knowing the damage of AIDS and the senior high school students’ frequency that they talk to others about AIDS had significant differences about the others-attitude toward AIDS. 6. The AIDS knowledge and self-attitude toward AIDS of the junior and senior high school students in central Taiwan had significant relationship. Furthermore, their self-attitude and others-attitude toward AIDS also had significant relationship. However, the AIDS knowledge and others-attitude toward AIDS didn’t. 7. The AIDS knowledge of the junior and senior high school students couldn’t predict or explain their self-attitude and others- attitude toward AIDS. However, their self-attitude can predict and explain their others-attitude toward AIDS.
