In the stage two, the “bathing” process was developed based on the literature review and the data collected from stage one, the Skilbeck’s course development model was served as the framework of the development. The study results showed that bathing disable elderly indicated the “bathing” could prevent disease and promote health, further to achieve the psycho-mental wellbeing, and a trained nursing assistant would be the qualified person to perform the process. The content of the “bathing service” process included: (1) flow chart implement the assessment prior to bathing regarding the assessment, (2) standardized bathing steps and their critical elements, and (3) after bathing care. The checklists included the use of bathing chair and bathing bed. The study finding concluded a complete bathing model and its’ influencing factors.
