Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東師範學院 === 教育行政研究所 === 93 === This research was aimed to discuss the current situation of the communication behavior of principals, the school organization at climate and the teachers job satisfaction;to analyze the relationship among these factors, and to provide suggestions according to the results of this research to administrative organization in education, elementary schools and studies in the future.
The analysis of the literature and data and the survey of questionnaires were utilized to achieve the goal of this research. Firstly, the literature which was analyzed encompasses the related research about the communication behavior of both domestic and foreign principals, the school organization at climate and the teachers job satisfaction. Secondly, the questionnaires developed by the author were allotted to 552 teachers, chiefly selected from 26 schools in Kaohsiung County and 28 schools in Pingtung County. The valid sample information was analyzed by the statistical software, SPSS 10.0, which includes average, independent sample t-test, one-way variance analysis, the Pearson’s product-moment correlation and Stepwise multiple regression.
According to the results of this study, the conclusions are summarized as the following:
1. The communication behavior of the elementary school principals has well managed approximately, but should be made further progress.
2. The higher the seniority, teachers who work also in an administrational post, graduate institute, education department or in small scale school and remote region, the more satisfied they are concerning communication behavior of principals.
3. The school organization at climate atmosphere in the elementary is always opening and joining, but there is still space to promote and enhance.
4. The school organization at climate varies significantly with teachers’ gender, educational attainment, seniority, posts, regions where the school is located, and different scales.
5. The elementary school teachers are satisfied with their job and feel meaningful to learn from teaching in education.
6. Teacher job stratification has significant difference for teachers’ gender, educational attainment, seniority, posts, regions where the school is located, and different scales.
7. The communication behavior of principals and opening atmosphere are highly related to each other with predictive power of medium extent.
8. Communication behavior of principals and teacher job satisfaction are related to each other with medium extent and significant predictive power.
