Referring to the related literature such as The study aims at the learning performance and the users’ satisfaction using an e-learning platform. The investigated users are the students taking the computer-aided drafting course at the department of machine, National Yu-lin Agricultural and Industrial vocational high school. The teaching materials and methods are designed based on Gagne’s teaching theory and the teachers’ virtual teaching experiences. The data in this study were collected and processed by way of the experimental methodology and the questionnaire survey. The students were divided into two groups: the experimental group using the e-learning platform and the control group learning by the traditional teaching. Both of the two groups took a five-week learning program, respectively. The learning performances evaluated by the study are assignments and tests. We also investigated the users’ satisfaction by questionnaires. The conclusions are as follows: 1.There is no significant difference between the experimental and the control groups in the performances of assignments and tests. 2.Based on the pre-test scores, each of the two groups was divided into three levels: high, medium and low levels respectively. According to the multiple analysis of variance (MANOVA), there is no significant difference in each of the three levels between the two groups. 3.Based on the learning time each student spent on the e-learning platform, the experimental group was further grouped into three sub-groups: long duration sub-group, medium duration sub-group and short duration sub-group. Consequently, there is no significant difference among the three sub-groups in the performances of assignments and tests. 4.The experimental group has positive attitude and high satisfaction in using the e-learning platform.
