碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 93 === This research mainly aims at discussing the status of law-related education in Junior High School of Taichung County/City, which includes the teachers, and students,opinions on the essence of law-related education, their attitude about it and their opinions on the present status as well as the teachers,opinions on difficulties and strategies in the process. And this researcher will propose some suggestion as the reference to promote law-related education according to the result of the study.
The researcher carries on research mainly with the quantization questionnaire investigation method and complements with the qualitative interview. The number of the questionnaire investigation amounts to 1630, the teachers and students of junior high school in Taichung County/City, as the sample. The researcher also uses self-compiled “Questionnaire on the present status of law-related education and strategies of Junior High School as a tool. Four teachers are asked as the interview sample. The quantization studies analysis is applied along with frequency distribution, t -test, one way analysis of variance,Scheffe. The qualitative part is based on interviewing to analyze the teachers, opinions on essence , attitude , status , difficulties , strategies of law-related education. And the researcher proposes the conclusion and suggestion according to the finding in the end.
First, the following conclusion is obtained by probing into the documents and the result of study:
1. Essence of law-related education
(1)It shows great difference between two sexes in the study on the teachers’ view of essence of law-related education of Junior High School
(2)It shows great difference between two sexes in the study on the junior high school students’ view of essence of law-related education and law result of the behavior.
(3)It shows great difference among different grades or different disciplining attitudes and school places in the study on the junior high school students’ view of essence of law-related education.
2. Law-related education attitude
(1)It shows great difference between two sexes in the study on the teachers’ attitude of law-related education and their view of teaching influence.
(2)It shows great difference among the teachers of junior high schools in different sizes on the study of their view of law-related education attitude and teaching influence.
(3)It shows great difference among the teachers of junior high schools in different places on the study of their view of law-related education attitude, implement effect and teaching influence.
(4)It shows great difference among junior high students under different discipline on the study of their attitude of law-related education.
(5)It shows great difference among junior high students in different places on the study of their view of teaching influence.
3. Present status of law-related education
(1)It shows great difference between two sexes in the study on the junior high school teachers’ view of the present status of law-related education.
(2)It shows great difference among teachers on different jobs on the study of their view of the present status of law-related education.
(3)It shows great difference among the teachers of junior high schools in different places on the study of their view of the present status of law-related education.
(4)It shows great difference among teachers at different ages on the study of their view of the present status and educational activities.
(5)It shows great difference among junior high students in different places on the study of their view of the present status of law-related education.
(6)It shows great difference among junior high students under different discipline on the study of their opinions on school policy of law-related education.
(7)It shows great difference between students who have had law-related lessons and those who haven’t on the study of their opinions on the present status of law-related education.
4. Difficulty in promoting law-related education
(1)It shows great difference among teachers at different ages on the study of their opinions on “teaching difficulty “ in promoting law-related education.
(2)It shows great difference among junior high students in different places on the study of their opinions on the difficulty in promoting law-related education.
5. Strategies for promoting law-related education
In the strategies for promoting law-related education ,all junior high school teachers, opinions on supporting strategies , activity strategies and teaching strategies are definite and agreement.
Second, the following suggestions are promoted according to the conclusions above
1. Educational administration
(1)Offer law-related education activity which cooperates with teaching in every domain.
(2)Strengthen the link of school , family ,and society to make law-related education implement well.
(3)Plan the resources of school properly, and avoid the misdistribution which may cause the difference in urban and rural areas.
(4)Seek the integration of the resources of community, in order to strengthen parents’ law-related education to improve parents' stress on law-related education.
(5)Supervise media , and make it work well in the social education function.
(6)Cooperate positively with other organizations, like the law department in university, in order to activate the teaching material , strengthen the essence of law-related education.
(7)Increase the books , newspapers and magazines which are relevant to law-related education in the campus, which can make the teachers and students consult the materials at any time, to improve the law knowledge.
(8)Reform the course and plan a new way to implement it to improve people,s citizenship in the country governed by law.
2. Educators in junior high school
(1)Strengthen junior high school students, concept of law-related education by mending law-related education course into social course and other fields. .
(2)Strengthen the idea and condense the common understanding of law-related education by communication.
(3)Participate a training relevant to law-related education study activity regularly in order to receive and improve law-related education knowledge and skill.
(4)Use the illegal incident of the society to educate students by chance in order to activate teaching intension, which implements law-related education in real life and improves students’ interest in studying because of being more vivacious.
(5)Use topic discussing or role play, which offers students to discuss and think and promotes their thinking and distinguishing ability and trains their law - abiding attitude and spontaneous behavior
3. Teaching material of law-related education course and implement
(1)Law-related education course should include “ the society “ , “ the learner “ and” knowledge “, and the content should focus on training students to obey and respect the law , and participate in the public affairs actively. Let students possess basic general knowledge of laws in everyday life based on living knowledge, and extend and utilize to life .
(2)Extra material should be offered for it is closely related to student's’ life, giving away the professional, trifling or passage nouns.
(3)Formal curriculum and hidden curriculum should cooperate with each other to make systematic knowledge and using ability to control oneself in attitude grow and succeed.
