Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 特殊教育學系 === 93 === Abstract The purposes of this study were to investigate the school adjustment and school support system to senior and/or vocational high school students with learning disabilities of Kaohsiung city, to examine students’, their teachers’ and school administrators’ opinions regarding those students’ current status of school adjustment and school support system requirements. Questionnaires were used to examine the current status of 36 students with learning disabilities in senior and/or vocational high schools. A depth interview was conducted to 25 subjects including 11 students with learning disabilities, 6 school administrators and 8 teachers of the students. The major findings were: I. School adjustment 1. According to the results of the questionnaire, senior and/or vocational high school students adjusted better than those with learning disabilities in school adjustment. 2. According to the results of the questionnaire, senior and/or vocational high school students adjusted better than those with learning disabilities in interpersonal adjustment. 3. According to the results of the questionnaire, senior and/or vocational high school students adjusted better than those with learning disabilities in academic learning. 4. Students who had good nature and took an active interest in learning were more adaptive to school life. 5. There was correlation between current status of school adjustment and characteristics of learning disabilities. 6. The students with learning disabilities who were well adapted to campus life received more acceptances from their teachers. 7. There were some different points between teachers and students with learning disabilities about students’ current status of school adjustment. 8. Senior and/or vocational high school teachers knew students’ current status of school adjustment more than school administrators. II. Support systems 1.The students with learning disabilities who were well adapted to campus life received more support from their school support systems. 2. Students with learning disabilities thought that school support system was not enough diverse to meet their needs. 3. There were some different viewpoints about the benefits of school support system on assisting school adjustment among students with learning disabilities. 4. Items of school support system were more about administration, but less about services of students. 5. The more acceptances teachers gave, the more support they offered actively. 6. There was disagreement with expectancy of school support system between teachers and administrators. According to the results from questionnaires and depth interviewing in the present study, some suggestions were given to the departments of educational administration, teachers, school administrators and future study.
