Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 科學教育研究所 === 94 === The purpose of this action research is to inquire into problems/solutions, practices/changes, and impact when the researcher taught the eighth grade science with the implement of the Scientific Creativity teaching. And to analyze: is the learning environment helpful to Improve Student Scientific Creativity?
The research have two periods: one is preparation period that includes three projects of “Density”, “atmospheric pressure”, “distillation experiment”; the other is effective period that includes two projects of “acid and base mix”, “voice”. The researcher gathered and analyzed data from journal of this research, documents, audio taping of teaching activities, interviewing with students, dialogues among teachers, students’ scientific reports, and feedback questionnaires to improve her teaching. The researcher surveyed “WIHIC”(What Is Happening In this Class?) before and after teaching. The data were analyzed mainly in qualitative data and subordinatively in quantitative data. The results of this research were as following:
1. The researcher constructed the teaching procedure of improving student scientific creativity from the introspection of the theory and practice.
2. The impact of the scientific creativity teaching to the students:
(1) caused students’ curiosity, (2) excited students’ creative thinking, (3) excited students’ critical thinking, (4) improve students’ interconnected ability,(5) caused students’ imagination, (6) improve students’ experimental skills, (7) students can make novel and utility products, (8) students had positive environmental feeling.
3. The impact of the scientific creativity teaching to the researcher:
(1) researcher made changes and progress in pedagogical content knowledge.
(2) researcher had new grasp and introspection for scientific creativity teaching.
4. Through the reflective thinking in designing teaching and learning activities, the researcher gained improvements in teaching strategies, teaching design, and recognization of teacher’s diverse roles in the classroom.
