碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 應用日語所 === 93 === The purpose of this paper is about the difference of Japan-U.S. security policy after the Cold War. By studying the difference of Japan-U.S. security policy, I think Japan is going to the way to "an ordinary country" through the re-definition of Japan-U.S. security. This paper consists of 5 chapters. A prologue explains the research motive and purpose, precedence research and the research method, and research composition. Chapter 2 introduces the reason of Japan-U.S. security policy. Chapter 3 is the center of this paper. The Change of international situation after the Cold War is introduced previously. Moreover, for the changes of such international situation I discussed the action of Japan. That is, it is a research of the re-definition of Japan-U.S. security policy. In Chapter 4, I try to explain the reason that Japan is having changed the security policy. That is, it is the reason that Japan is going on the way to an ordinary country. The last chapter is the conclusion of this paper. The possible research direction to Japan-U.S. security policy is also left behind as a subject.
