Summary: | 碩士 === 國立花蓮師範學院 === 幼兒教育學系碩士班 === 93 === This study is about the experience of a kindergarten teacher ‘Xio Chung’ who is the main character of the story. Through the narrative study, problems in the classroom and ways to solve problems can be represented more clearly.
The beginning of this study is a whole-day-long description of Xio Chung and it shows many situations a kindergarten teacher would face during a day. A kindergarten teacher not only has to educate children, but also has many things to handle. Meanwhile, it also gives an overall image of Xio Chung and her conception of education. The conception of children is not constructed at once; by the contract, it is developed during a long period of time. The following topics of different stories will represent Xio Chung’s conception of early childhood education and her experiences. Those topics are ‘Daily life of a kindergarten teacher, ‘The myth of theories and the dilemma of reality’, ‘Self-developed teaching methods’, ‘Punishment and reward’, ‘The march of cooperative relationship’, ‘Eclosion, the growing of a warm’.
The last part of the study will combine the story of Xio Chung with the experiences of the researcher and try to find out teachers’ role and the way to become a professional teacher.
