Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 社會科教育學系碩士班 === 93 === This research discusses current Hsin Chu elementary school teachers of social studies using “Additional Local Education Reference for Hsin Chu County Middle and Elementary School Teachers” by questionnaires and interviews. The main target are social studies teachers of second learning stage from Hsin Chu County and the results are following: I. The percentage of teachers using this reference is 84.7% while the teachers not using this is 15.3%. Hence the percentage of using this reference is rather high. II. Most teachers using “Additional Local Education Reference for Hsin Chu County Middle and Elementary School Teachers” are from social studies area. However, teachers from other areas have used it as well. III. Teachers using this reference differs from local cities to cites. IV. The most difficult part about using “Additional Local Education Reference for Hsin Chu County Middle and Elementary School Teachers” is unfamiliar with it. V. Overall, teachers think “Additional Local Education Reference for Hsin Chu County Middle and Elementary School Teachers” has an unique characteristic and is suitable for every regional teachers use. VI. Teachers who are especially interested in local education are the best ones to teach second learning stage of social studies area. VII. The most frequently used teaching resource is going on line for the related teaching information. “Additional Local Education Reference for Hsin Chu County Middle and Elementary School Teachers” are secondly used. VIII. School should provide well policies in order to help teachers better understand this reference and then increase the percentage of using. Lastly, the research result will further discuss the context, edition, how the future will be like and all teachers’ acknowledgement for the dialectic education. From here, elementary school teachers, editors for local education and future researchers can take the result into a consideration.
