Description
Summary:碩士 === 國防管理學院 === 國防資訊研究所 === 93 === As mobile users and traffic increasing continuously, a base station call admission control needs to process different type traffic and user service requirements. An efficient call admission control (CAC) scheme would enhance a channel utilization of a base station and users’ satisfaction. Therefore, how to allocate channels to mobile calls efficiently would be important issue for a call admission control scheme. This study tries to propose a dynamic call admission control to improve channel allocation efficiency of a base station. The operation of proposed dynamic call admission control would base on a mobile call’s type, application, location, and user priority. Two location weight modes, angle and distance, are used in the proposed a call admission control scheme. Moreover, to evaluate the performance of the proposed call admission control scheme, optimal settings are used in a fix call admission control scheme. This study implements a base station call admission control simulation program with C language. Several simulation scenarios are executed. With simulation results analysis, this study find several interest results that might be useful for mobile communication operators.
