The medical ultimate treatment aim is advancing the best physical, psychological, and social function for burn injured patients nowadays. According to the research report, burn patients need faced with physical, psychosocial, and social problems after discharged. Therefore, producing many health care needs. At this time, it will need assistance from professional medical treatment to providing necessary health care, and meet the needs of patients’ recovery. The purpose of this report are exploring the health care needs of burned patients, and identify the influential factors related to those needs. The content is describing the correlation research. The object of study is the discharged burn patients. Sixty-two subjects are acquired by valid sampling from a medical center in Taipei, and a foundation. It uses the structured format in questionnaires to research the relationship of the personal property, the characteristic of disease, mental status, and social support to overall health care needs (including the care needs of physical, psychosocial, and informational needs). The main points of final result summary are as follows: 1. In the health care needs level order is informational needs first, psychosocial needs as second, then physical needs. In unsatisfied level order is physical needs first, psychosocial needs as second, then informational needs. 2. The needs of the overall health care and physical health care have two same predictors which are whether or not it has the psychology problem before burn injury, and the total scar quantity of body parts. The extra predictor of overall health care needs is the length of discharged days. The predictors of psychosocial health care needs include total scar quantity of body parts, and anxiety. The predictors of information needs are whether or not it has the psychology problem before burn injury, and the length of discharged days. The aim and end of this report is for burn injured patients’ nursing care, nursing education, and nursing research as reference to enhance the quality of burn injured patients’ care.
