the private vocational senior high schools, and to come up with
conclusions and suggestions for the reference of the studied schools and
related educational departments.
Literature analysis, school staff opinion review, SWOT analysis and
recruiting strategies examination is conducted to build the framework of
this research, derive research topics and compile the questionnaire, “The
current situation and improvement strategies of private vocational senior
high schools.” The target is restricted on studied school staff and first
grade students. 44 valid copies are collected from the staff, return rate is
100%; 272 valid copies are collected from students, return rate is 91%.
All of the data are carefully studied by using SPSS statistical method and
get the conclusion in order to understand the difficulties of student
recruiting.
The main discoveries are as follows.
First of all, the most attracted for students to choose private vocational
senior high schools are educational-industrial complex, invitation from
colleagues and effective strategies from recruiting teachers.
Second, students tend to be attracted by “recruiting teachers make
promotion in junior high school”, “recruiting teachers’ home visiting” and
“senior colleague’s invitation”.
Third, the key factor to choose schools is to participate in educational- industrial complex.
Fourth, the recruiting strategy integrates organization, promotion,
interaction, reputation and compensation.
This research integrates the data mining of school information and the
analysis of students choosing behavior, and then comes with conclusions.
Moreover, based on the conclusions, this research delivers suggestions on
student recruiting, which could be reference for the studied school,
education of administration department, continune research and hopefully
for future development of recruiting strategies for private vocational senior
high schools.
