Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 家庭教育研究所 === 93 === The study aims to understand the status of the well-being of the high-grade students in the primary school firstly;second to analyze the relations between their background , parent-child interaction , social support and well-being;third to predict their well-being;and finally according to the research findings, to provide some suggestions as references of guidance for parents, education and the future studies. The study adopts questionnaire survey method, after separating Taiwan into four areas ,and draws 305 samples from single-parent students in the primary school .
The instruments used in the study include Basic Background Questionnaire, Parent-child Interaction Scale , Social Support Scale and Well-being Scale. After using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s Product-Moment correlation ,and stepwise Multiple Regression to process the survey data, the main findings are described as follows:
1. As far, the well-being of the single –parent students in primary school are average. The interpersonal relationship of single –parent students is better than the positive emotion, the life-satisfaction, and the self-satisfaction;the self-satisfaction is the worst of the four.
2. There are significant difference in well-being between different family economic status. The life-satisfaction and total well-being of the students in over-middle status is better than that of the students in low-grade status. The positive emotion of the students in high-grade status and middle status is better than that in low-grade status.
3. There are mostly significant positive correlation between the factors of parent-child interaction and the factors of well-being.
4. There are significant positive correlation between the factors of social support and
the factors of well-being.
5. The total social support、tangible support、total parent-child interaction 、the frequency of interaction、the mental intimacy can effectively predict the well-being of the high-grade single-parent students in the primary school.
