Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 教育科技研究所 === 93 === This collaborative action research project was conducted by three elementary school teachers with different specialties. By the collaboration with two math teachers, IT integrated courses in mathematics are designed and implemented. This project focuses on (1) the teachers’ professional development of integrating IT into learning (2) how action research improves the teachers’ professional development in integrating IT into learning. By the collaboration for two semesters, we have found that collaborative action research was helpful to teachers, especially to novice teachers implementing integrated IT into learning. Main findings of this research are as follows: (1) In professional development of integrating IT into learning. (A) It is easier to integrate IT into learning in “geometry.” (B) There are limitations in the methods to integrate IT into learning in math. (C) It is easier to integrate IT into learning on the stage of concept teaching, but on the practice and evaluation stages, it is easier to teach in traditional teaching method. (D) Conceptive materials are better integrated into teaching in the form of PPT, whereas operative materials are better integrated in the form of using digital presenter. (E) The main effect of integrating IT into learning was to arouse students’ interests and aid concentration. (F) Integrating IT into learning makes teaching process more plentiful, clear and fluent. (2) How action research improves the teachers’ professional development in integrating IT into learning (A) Singled-purposed and highly heterogeneous combination of teachers will be more successful to promote teaching ability. (B) Information-specialized teachers should further understand the collaborative courses and try to satisfy the co-operative teachers’ needs. (C) The collaborative courses can upgrade the efficiency of teachers, and therefore the problem of lacking time can be solved. (D) Collaborative action research is more helpful to novice teacher. (E) The collaborative courses can gradually improve the teachers’ professional skills in IT. (F) The belief of teacher will influence the learning of information technology. (G) The collaborative action research was helpful to the teachers’ professional development, especially the process of systematic reflection can improve teaching practice and enhance readiness in teaching.
