Specifically, its objectives are as follows: (a)To discuss the history and development of the theories on Subjectivity which involve art theories, psychology, Zen, and post-modernism, and their implication for artistic production. (b)From the perspectives on Subjectivity to develop the ideas of artistic production. (c)According to the artistic ideas to initiate the artistic production series. (d)Based on the findings and experiences of the series, to reflect on the future artistic production. By comparing with different thoughts, the writer analyzes their concepts on a subject’s deep structure. In terms of Lacan’s theory in psychoanalysis as well as theories in philosophy, art theories, post-modernism and Zen, the writer develop the ideas concerning the series. Finally, the another reflects on the creation of art on Subjectivity, and proposes suggestions for future Chinese ink painting and artistic production.
