The participants were 1359 middle-school students in Taiwan. The research instruments were self-edited “Weather Forecast General Knowledge Test” and “Weather Forecast Attitude Scale”. Data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and multiple regression. The results of this research were summarized as followings: 1. There were significant differences (p<.05) in the weather forecast cognition proficiency among Middle-school students of different grades, gender and parents’ education level. 2. There were significant differences (p<.05) in the weather forecast attitudes among middle-school students of different grades, parents’ occupations, and weather forecast watching experience. 3. There were significant differences (p<.05) in middle-school students’ weather forecast cognition and attitudes. 4. The variations of grades, parents’ education proficiency, and gender could explain 17.3% variant of middle-school students’ weather forecast general knowledge cognition; the variations of watching experience, grades, and parents’ occupations could explain 4.6% variant of middle-school students’ weather forecast attitudes.
