This study took qualitative research-content analysis-as the main researching framework. The researcher collected relative qualitative data during the cybercounseling period. In search for the integral data, the researcher also collected quantified data: The Beck Depression Inventory- Second Edition. The findings of this research are as follows: 1.In part of the experience of clients who used the web-based cybercounseling website: (1)In part of the website interface, the designing is friendly, the colors are bright and vivid, and the functions of emoticons and alerts of input status are helpful for cyber communication. Besides, the website designer can enhance the stabilities of the website system, even increase the function of interactive video and voice. (2)In part of the characters of cybercounseling, including the lack of non-verbal information, using writing as the communication way, breaking through the limitation of spaces and freer. In addition, cybercoounseling could be a permanent service. (3)In part of the interaction of cybercounseling, counselor should match up clients, in order to find the best communication frequency, furthermore, to have the basic counselor characters are essential. 2.In part of applying cognitive therapy on the clients with depressive mood in synchronous cybercounseling: (1)In part of the clients’ points of view, cognitive therapy cybercounseling was helpful in reducing depressive mood both on client A and client B. As for client C, cybercounseling could provide some support. About the interventions, identifying automatic thoughts and downward arrow techniques are applicable to all clients, besides, the behavior technique can be used for client with severe depressive mood. (2)In part of the counselor’s points of view, the functions of the cybercounseling website are helpful in applying techniques of cognitive therapy.
