This study could be the reference of educational authority agencies to improve the vocational ethical education. The study used many research methods , such as the literature review , the experts interview , and the questionnaire. The population was 146 vocational high schools year of 2004. Meanwhile, this study adapted stratified random sampling technique based on the location of the schools, which sampled 7 schools in the northern , central, southern Taiwan .There were 660 usable questionnaires returned .The data were analyzed by frequency distribution , percentage , mean , standard deviation, independent sample t-test , and Pearson’s product-moment correlation. According to the results of the statistic analysis , the conclusions were as follows: 1.There was no significant different among the students in the professional ethical awareness according to their genders, grades, and industrial/business departments. 2.Students in the southern Taiwan had better performance than those in the central Taiwan in the professional ethical awareness. 3.Students had better performance in “responsibility” and“respecting work”;poor performance in “honest”. 4.There was a significant correlation between “personality-conscientiousness” in the professional ethical awareness.
