Firstly , we covers two articles about timing synchronization technology in IEEE and apply it to the IEEE 802.16-2004 system simulating and comparing floating point and fixed point cases respectively. What follows is that we propose a pseudo-multipath iterative algorithm(PMIA) which mainly improves the performance of frame timing synchronization by iterative approach. Finally, we apply PMIA to the technique reported in the two denoted articles previously and try to interpret each performance improvement under different parameters.
