Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 土木工程研究所 === 93 === In this paper, the bridge- vehicle interaction problem is studied by experimental and numerical methods. A reduced steel box girder bridge model of 5m long and 0.6 m wide and a model vehicle were made to conduct the measurements of bridge-vehicle interaction behaviors. The dynamic characters of the bridge and vehicle were identified first. These data together with the experimental measurements were used to calibrate the numerical simulation model. The strain, deflection and acceleration at some locations of the model bridge under various moving speeds of the vehicle were measured. The resonance effect between the bridge and vehicle at various moving speeds were also investigated. Besides, the impact response of the bridge due to the vehicle moving across ramps at various locations of the bridge deck was also studied.
To have some experience on applying commercial code to simulate the bridge-vehicle behavior, the LS-DYNA code was applied to study the interaction dynamics between the bridge and moving vehicle. Numerical results reveal the LS-DYNA code can well simulate the dynamic performance measured through the experiments.
