In comparison with the increased joint shear, and axial load, the bond slip between new and old concrete interface, strength and effect of stiffness. Finally, the accuracy of the current assessment of joint shear models is evaluated. The test is based on interior beam-column joints. The specimens comprise one prototype interior beam-column joint and three retrofitted specimens with RC jacketing. Prototype and one of RC jacketing joints have axial load. All of the specimens were designed to joint shear failure. From the test results, it was found that the retrofitted specimens are superior to the benchmark specimens in strength, stiffness. The axial load can prohibit the bond slip between new and old concrete interface and increase the joint shear. It is suitable to analyze the prototype or RC jacketing specimens by means of the current assessment of joint shear models(shear degradation model and softened strut-and-tie model).
