WLNA has numbers benefits, such as convenient, easy to build and price acceptable. People also familiar with Voice over IP (VoIP)- using IP network to transfer voice. Therefore, the new application- Voice over WLAN(VoWLAN)integrates with VoIP and WLAN. That means voice can be transfer through wireless network. The study try to collect the status of VoWLAN’s market trend and research into the key success factors of VoWLAN’s market. On the other side, 3G’ WIMAX’Skype.., those new communication technologies’ development may can effect VoWLAN’s direction. Taiwan’s wireless network manufactures are facing how to make strategy in such competition or using their own core ability to create another successful curve. Through interviewing industry experts and the success elements of bench market company, the study concluded the key success factors are: (1) the ability of creative technologies; (2) the ability of customer oriented product design and manufacturing ; (3) cost control; (4) development team’s integrated ability and time to market for new product; (5) alliance between industries; (6) channel and marketing; (7) intellectual property; (8) government rules and policy; (9) environment changing. And a case study can deeply understand W company use its own core abilities to make strategies for getting leading position in new mobility communication trend.
