碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 管理學院碩士在職專班資訊管理組 === 93 === The development of decision support system possesses ripe technological foundation in recent years and there is a great deal of software packages in the industry. As for military, the software packages usually can not satisfy the demands of military due to the closed operational environment, the difference of organizational framework, the considerations of information security and the limitation of customization of industrial software packages. The case study of this research is the System Manufacturing Center of Chung-Shan Institute of Scientific & Technology. This unit has already developed the computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) system and has successful experiences of using the CIM system for many years. Under this good infrastructure, this research analyzes the KPI for decision support and utilizes the technology of on-line analytical processing to develop a decision support system for the manufacturing sub-system of the CIM system.
