Among them the source driver requiring the high quality, high resolution, low power consumption is very important, especially at present towards big panel and high resolution development of liquid crystal display.In recent years, the content industry of the digit grows vigorously, the liquid crystal TV is considered to replace the tradition CRT display. In this thesis, a high resolution source driver for TFT-LCD application is proposed. It can be applied to the electric crystal liquid crystal display of WQUXGA TFT-LCD application. For the high resolution request, it will need a larger area for the digital to analogy converter (DAC) circuit. We use two types of Digital to Analogy Converter to produce the 10 bit resolution application. The different DAC architecture could reduce the chip area comparing with the traditional DAC. The source driver uses a high-speed, low-power, and rail to rail unit-gain buffer amplifier to drive the data line, and reaches the high driving and rail to rail requirement.
