Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 93 === The rapid advance in wireless networking, micro-fabrication and integration have enabled the developing environment of massive-scale wireless sensor networks (WSNs). This technology introduces a new way for us to interact with the physical environment. Since sensor networks use wireless technology as the communication medium, chances for the information retrieved by unexpected people are becoming easier and easier. Besides in wireless communication aspect, the cost of transmitting collision is very high, so an efficient method for preventing transmitting collision is desired. In WSNs the resources are limited; it seems that AES with MACA is the good solution for these problems. AES is a most recent encryption standard adopted by NIST in 2001 and it is a most secure cryptography algorithm suitable for hardware implementation in the limited resource environment. MACA is a simple protocol scheme that solves the collision problem with little handoff. Inside this thesis we choose the MOTE-KIT 5040 as the platform to implement these two standards in a WSN. The time taken for encrypting a 16Bytes data in this platform is about 0.857ms and decrypting is about 1.382ms. Also our performance of AES algorithm is better than AES Proposal in some sense.
