It’s very important to review the present situation of early intervention services in Taiwan after they have been carried out for about 10 years. The research is to explore the interactoin between professionals providing early intervention services in Nantou County, the problems they are facing, the faoctors influencing their collaboration, and their expectations of ideal operation of early intervention services network.   The research is a qualitative research. 20 professionals are selected from case management unit, medical therapy services units, educational services units, social welfare group, administration agencies and the parents and 1 focus group and 14 in-depth interviews were made. Besides the description of the current interaction between professionals, the main findings of the research include:  1.The problems of the current operation of early intervention services network are the problems about collaboration,information, consensus or joint services plan, trans-professional teamwork, user’s participation, and administration plan.  2.Factors influencing the professionals in the early intervention services network are cocluded into the individual level, the organizational level, and the policy or regulation level. The research findings also make context description for factors of each level.  3.The expectations of ideal operation of early intervention services network are concluded into four parts including the opinions of consensus or joint service plan, trans-professional teamwork, user’s participation, and promotion of administration plan. According to the research findings, the study provides four dimentions of suggestions including the construction of sufficient resources capacity, strengthening existing integrating mechanism, the promotion of trans-professional communication, and the improvement of policy. Because of some limitations, the study also proposes some suggestions for future studies, such as to do a nation-wide research, and the qualitative or quantitative research to make more generalized and common conclusion for national policy.
