Only few attempts have so far been made at the poetry in Hakka, which stems from a sense of. Hakka consciousness and ethnic identity in the middle of 1980s . We will attempt not only an initial study of the works in Hakka, but also its analysis with the perspectives of Hakka history, societies, languages, cultures and spirits.   First of all, it will explore the resource of Hakka poetry how to inherit the Hakka mountain folksongs and absorbed their nutrient. Secondly, it will analyze and discuss the problem of writing in Hakka. At last, it will analyze the text of Hakka poetry and stand out its importance in Taiwanese literatures.   This thesis will conduct its discussion in different 7 chapters.   The first chapter is the introduction, first briefly describing the research motives, purposes and methodology of this thesis.   Chapter two is about the definition of “the literature in Hakka” and “the Hakka literature”, including the social phenomena of a great deal of publication in Hakka.   Chapter three dwells on the problem of writing in Hakka. We will begin by considering the linguistic approach, including analyses the difference of writing in Chinese words and in alphabet, the Hakka phonetic, vocabulary and its characteristics.   The fourth chapter discusses the problem of “feminine writing”, which will deal with the Hakka poets’ motives to create works by using living conditions and styles, the emotions and feelings of Hakka women as the basis and the spiritual culture of re-constructing the races as the expressing methods.   The fifth chapter presents the Hakka poetry of collective consciousness of migration, which will discuse the writing’s experience between the city and countryside, the creation of children's songs, and the reflection of the migration of “the Hakka” and the origin and distribution of “Taiwanese Hakka”.   Chapter six is about of the context of Hakka poetry, using the standpoint of realism to observe the performances of describing-events skills of Hakka poetry on image of natural landscape, folk customs, the society and environment in Taiwan.   The seventh chapter concludes with a recapitulation of the entire thesis and the direction for future study, reflections and expectations.   At last appendix, we will list all of the famous representative authors after 1945, their works, their publishing history and documents of authors‘ interview.
