Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 電機工程學系碩博士班 === 93 === This thesis analyzes the characteristics of a three-phase induction generator with a reactive-power compensated inverter under both autonomous mode and grid-connected mode of operation using instantaneous reactive power theory. The parameters of studied system are obtained from a laboratory 1.1 kW induction machine driven by a DC motor to perform both dynamic and steady-state simulations. In autonomous mode of operation, the capacitor bank is used as a bulk uncontrolled source of reactive current and the proposed inverter provides reactive current to regulate the stator-winding voltage of the studied induction generator under variable rotor speeds. In grid-connected mode of operation, two control strategies to achieve unity power factor at grid side are proposed for the studied induction generator under variable rotor speeds.
