A well-designed measurement system for animal behavior will not only can help the doctor and researcher to reduce the complexity of an experiment, but also offer more accurate and multiple representative measurement parameters, increase the efficiency and reliability of an experiment and decrease the waste of experiment resources. In order to is it make further contribution on developing to study in medical science and biotechnology.
This thesis proposes utilizing Touch Panel of hardware characteristic to press that can get the position coordinate. To measure the orbits that the animal takes action on the Touch Panel. The orbits signal is also transferred as series data format enter the computer in order to snow and store. Finally, observe the change of animal's behavior with different limitative environments. Use LabVIEW analysis procedure written to count the parameter of moving,jumping and rearing after the experiment. Analyse its behavior model further to research that has responses shown in animal's psychology and physiology.
