The data of investigating have 62 samples and according to space make off three parts: electric equipments, lighting, and air condition. The analysis of lighting is density of lighting. The electrical consumption of the row houses is around 1.55 times than the apartment houses. The analysis of electric equipments is statistical formula of electrical consumption and time.Residential building of annual EUI (Energy Use Intensity) is 36.2 kWh/(m2.yr). In the ratio of electrical consumption, the ratio of electric equipments is about 50%, the second is lighting, the last is air condition. In the season of air condition, the ratio of electric equipments and air condition in the apartment is 41%, lighting and others is 18%. The ratio of electric equipments in house is 36%, air condition is 32%, and lighting and others is 32%. Through on-site electrical survey and household property data investigation, we can draw to a conclusion that living behavior is the most important factor in the residential buildings electrical consumption. And the peak electrical consumption at pm 6:00∼am 2:00, this period consumes 48.7% electronic in whole day. On average, the appliances consume 50.7% electronic in whole year, and the kitchen space is the most electric consuming room because it has high power cooking appliances. We find that the old refrigerator consume 2.0 times more energy than new one. In the same time, the old air-conditioner consume 1.6 times more energy than new equipment. We may note that the poor appliances lead to the more electrical waste, therefore using high efficiency appliances and having a good living behavior are the most important strategies for energy saving of residential buildings. This study is for construction the expert system of electrical consumption evaluation system of residential buildings in Taiwan. This expert system can help inhabitants assess structure of electrical consumption of household. And do the most economical method to improve mainly factors of electrical consumption.
