Pyrazole analogues were demonstrated to be potent inhibitors of H. Pylori DHODase. These compounds are competitive with coenzyme Q6 and were highly selective for H. pylori over human DHODase. In our work, a new efficient synthesis method of pyrazole (5) was developed via 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of sydnone with acetylene, Ritter reaction and amination.The chemoslectivity of sydnone derivatives with acetylene would be studied to improve the desired yield in 1,3-dipalor cycloaddition.
