Summary:博士 === 國立中興大學 === 園藝學系 === 93 === Under 35℃ growth chamber screening, the most heat tolerant line was 'C00309' with flower bud retention period for 6.6 days. The most heat sensitive lines were 'C02677', 'C00503', and 'C01226' with flower bud retention period for only 2.64, 2.47, and 2.4 days respectively. In pollen vitro germination, only 6 pepper lines 'C01944A', 'C00642', 'C02221A', 'C00309', 'C01713', 'C00662B' could be germinated in vitro under 35℃。Leaf disc electric leakage rate was the highest in 'C02677' for 75% and lowest 'C01944A', 'C00641', 'C00309', and 'C01052' for about 25% under 50℃. Conclude all the experiments, the most stable heat tolerance line was 'C00309' and heat sensitive line was 'C02677'. The reproductive organs and vegetative organs of 'C00309' were proof much better than those of 'C02677' in 2003 summer.
