The Photoluminescence Spectra Of Zinc Oxide Nanorods

碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 物理學系 === 93 === This thesis discusses the photoluminescence (PL) spectra of zinc oxide nanorods for the spectra ranging from 2.0-3.7eV. Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 物理學系 === 93 === This thesis discusses the photoluminescence (PL) spectra of zinc oxide nanorods for the spectra ranging from 2.0-3.7eV. The samples are excited by a 325nm He-Cd laser. Three major peaks are observed at 2.5, 2.8~3.1 and 3.27eV. The PL results vary with sample position due to inhomogeneity in the sample. The intensity of the PL spectra increases with the laser power. The band gap of the zinc oxide nanorods increases as the temperature decreases with a difference of 0.082eV between room temperature and 0°K. The origins of the three peaks are discussed by analyzing the temperature dependence and annealing effect of the PL peaks.
