To evaluate the hazard rank of each subdivision according to their different geological conditions, this paper attempts to analyze the data regionally. By establishing the method to determine the dependent and choosing suitable data from monitor instrument, safety degrees for each division are achieved by analyzing all these data using multiple linear regressions. As a result, we could get the regressive equation which could be the basis of hazard rank evaluation. Surface extensometer is the most sensitive instrument to reveal the displacement of the surface, so the dangerous degree of “evacuation” is determined by surface extensometer. By two Japanese scholar’s theory and principle of “Strain and time relation in creep phenomenon”, this paper tries to apply different methods for hazard rank and to establish the feasible criteria for evacuation. After establishing the evaluation method for each region and evacuation criterion for Li-Shan, this paper provides the managers to handle the situation of regions for Li-Shan more quickly and completely during typhoon, torrential rain, or other sudden accident of slope damage. Furthermore, proper decision can be made in regard to risk assessment.
