Yet when this new stream of products makes it way into homes, older electronic equipment will, as consequence, be discarded. These older products, therefore, cause the environmental problems which include the pollution, ozone, and global warming problems. To solve these problems, many governments have pushed the enterprise to develop the green production, green design, and resource regeneration techniques to reduce the environment impacts, and encouraged the customer to buy the low pollution and low energy products. In the past, many researchers are most focused forward supply chain or Environmentally Conscious Design. The recycling, remanufacturing and reprocessing of reverse logistics management issues are seldom studied. The purpose of this research is to build and analyze a green supply chain model by using system simulation with the Reassemble-to-Order (RATO) remanufacturing production environment based on the green design. In this model, it includes recycle, remanufacturing, materiel/component of recovery, and deal with end-waste activities simultaneously. By changing the recycling rate, demand rate, reuse rate, disassembly rate, assembly rates, the economic values are calculated and evaluated which includes: the order cycle time, the total cost of remanufacturing ,the re-products quantity, and the disposal quantity. The results could be the support for the enterprises or government’s decision making when considers the DfE, green production, and resource regeneration processes.
