This study not only conducted experiment to evaluate the posttests, but also performed in-depth interviews to understand the viewpoints which children obtained after the treatment. As a result, this study found that there was a significant difference on the instant test indicating that children who used concept map-based interface had better performance on learning. However, there were no significant differences on the retention test and on different ability levels.
