碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 資訊傳播工程學系碩士班 === 93 === This research tried to exam the effectiveness of concept map-based learning on children through internet. In particular, this research tried to investigate the effects of two interface designs (concept map-based interface and menu-based interface) on instant test and retention test, as well as on the students’ achievement of different ability levels. This study not only conducted experiment to evaluate the posttests, but also performed in-depth interviews to understand the viewpoints which children obtained after the treatment. As a result, this study found that there was a significant difference on the instant test indicating that children who used concept map-based interface had better performance on learning. However, there were no significant differences on the retention test and on different ability levels. The in-depth interviews shown that up to 90% of children thought the concept map-based learning material were more useful, and they really loved it.
