Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 公共事務學系碩士在職專班 === 93 === The main purpose of this research is to investigate the job satisfaction and organization commitment of full-time and part-time elementary school administrators, and the relations between between job satisfaction and organization commitment.
This study was conducted with a well-designed survey-“Questionnaire” on job satisfaction and organization commitment of elementary school administrators. Through stratified random sampling, the selected objects included 463 administrators from 30 public elementary schools in Taoyuan county. Among returned questionnaires, 342 papers were valid with a 73.39% valid percentage. This analysis consisted of survey respondents to gain more in-depth insights into questionnaire responses as well as to clarify responses with examples(descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, the Scheffe’ approach afterward, run by SPSS software program), also combine the deep confabulations with important administrators together.
The findings of this study are :
1. Overall aspect on job satisfaction : elder, student-guide department, senior, large-scale school, volunteer, public official had a higher level of job satisfaction. The effects on individuality and job characteristic – age, seniority had an obviously different level.
2. Overall aspect on organization commitment : elder, student-guide department, senior, small-scale school, volunteer, public official had stronger approbation. The effects on organization commitment – age , seniority had an obviously different level.
3. It had positive relationship obviously between job satisfaction and organization commitment, that is to say, higher job satisfaction will have higher commitment to organization.
The researcher hopes that the findings of this study will provide some suggestions for educational administration, the administration of elementary school and future study.
