Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 觀光研究所碩士在職專班 === 93 === E-learning has become a hot topic recently. It offers many advantages over traditional learning methods in searching and transferring data. The purpose of this paper is to extend the concept of E-learning into the area of passenger aviation. The point to make is to provide aviation safety and service knowledge through a web site. It is also expected that the concept in this thesis will be further developed into part of some systems for self-learning or real business uses. The aim of the thesis is to set up a prototype E-learning web site for passenger aviation. The web site will include seven main sections including; hot news, area of aviation safety, area of service on aviation, discussion zone, tests by games, personal management zone and related links. The information is provided from an integrated database. The contents are comprised of standard operation procedures, publications and IV my personal working experience. Functions like searching keywords, reading related topics and adding articles into personal management area are also provided for in this area. In the discussion zone, users could post articles and reply to other questions. They could also arrange other people in this zone into a friend list. Tests are designed into games. Users can choose an answer and if they are correct, they will receive points. Managing basic personal information, personal learning records and friends learning information are the components of personal management zone. Related links could be used to search airlines web sites, digital-learning web sites and traveling web sites. It is expected in the future that people will get required information not only by telephone but also by internet. Key word: Aviation Knowledge, Aviation Service, Aviation Safety, E-Learning
