Description
Summary:碩士 === 立德管理學院 === 資源環境研究所 === 93 === ABSTRACT With the rapid growth of population and economics, the need of energy for every activity has been increasing, which causes the traditional resource, such as coal, petroleum and natural gas, to diminish very fast. The situation dramatically impact global ecological environment; therefore, it has become their goal for developed countries to endeavor to develop new types of energy without pollution. Recently, with the concept of “Green Building” having gained the attention, it has been quite effective for civil Photovoltaic System to apply to buildings, and campus. However, it seems not common for applying the Photovoltaic System to the illumination in military, for example, street light, garden light, solar heater and illumination of distant and isolated security area. Thus, the purpose of this study is to integrate Photovoltaic System to military, combining the case study related to characteristic of natural sunlight, high efficiency and long life time, Metal Halide Lamp with lower lumen attenuation. By analyzing the result, the solar-powered illumination system meets the requirement for supplying the power for security area, identifying people at night, and the stealth of security guards. This study indicates that the planning to apply the system to military is really effective. As the result, it is recommended that military consider integrating the energy recycling system to the distant and isolated security area for power supply while planning, to meet the goal of recycling and making the maximum use of the energy.
