Description
Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 電子工程學系碩士班 === 93 === Microstrip antennas have earned more attention due to their low profile, light-weight, ease to fabricate and integrate with MMIC compact. The traveling-type leaky-wave microstrip antennas can provide wide-band frequency range and compensate the shortage of narrow-band microstrip antennas. While employing the double-layer structure, more flexibility enables the adjustment of input impedance and radiation patterns. By combining the concept of double-layer and tapered geometry, the leaky-wave microstrip antenna can use for ultra-band frequency range. The analysis by using cavity model ignored the radiation below cut-off frequency and in-completed the investigation of this kind of antennas. This thesis is to enhance the study lacked in earlier research. The improvement emphasis on the characteristics of radiation pattern below cut-off frequency and the influence while the tapered shape changes. The study of this research provides more complete information of the tapered double-layer microstrip antenna and eases the design in the future.
