Summary: | 碩士 === 義守大學 === 電子工程學系碩士班 === 93 === A superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) system can achieve high-speed, high-rating power exchange, including both active and reactive power. This thesis presents the dynamic simulations of a SMES system by means of the MATLAB/SIMULINK toolbox, power system blockset (PSB). However, with the modern powerful personal computer technology, the time consumed is nevertheless lengthy. In order to save the simulation time required, this thesis develops a simplified model of the SMES. The simplified model simulations can be completed in couple of seconds, and the final results agree with the one used by the PSB.
