In this thesis we use the ultrasonic signal to measure the distance, and use digital signal process to improve the accuracy of the measurement distance. In the system, we have utilized a low cost and low power consumptive microcontroller - MSP430 as the system core. A pair of ultrasonic transducer has been sued. We in order to design the better measurement system with a lower cost. To understand the performance of the measurement system, three types of measurement distance methods are reference, and compared by computer simulation. After the simulation result analysis find bias and variance of applies the BPSK signal measurement distance method is smallest. The system of distance measurement is implementation. Analyses the performance of three different measurement distance methods in the short distance and the long distance.
