Description
Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 材料科學與工程學系碩士班 === 93 === This study is to investigate the influence of different impregnating precursor and temperature of carbonization on physical properties, mechanical properties and tribological properties of carbon/carbon (C/C) composites. The results indicate that the flexural strength of specimens increase with increasing temperature of carbonization. Because of the better bonding with carbon fibers, the promotion in flexural strength and toughness of the coal-tar pitch specimen is more obvious than that of the phenolic resin specimen. However, phenolic resin matrix would be transfered to glassy carbon after carbonizated at 700℃ and the hardness on surface of the phenolic resin specimen could be maintained at a specified value. To compare the tribological properties of the specimens with different impregnating precursor, coal-tar pitch specimens show the better tribological properties and exhibit the lower weight loss and more stable friction coefficient. This is because that pitch matrix will be transfered to the preferred orientation structure carbon after carbonization. To investigate the influence of different temperature of carbonization on tribological properties, the specimen which was carbonized at 700℃ shows the lowest weight loss and the most stable friction coefficient.
